The Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGT Probe) is specifically designed for use in racing, tuning, and testing applications. Our probes are made in the USA from superior materials, designed to withstand rugged racing conditions. The Exposed Tip sensing junction provides immediate response to dynamic temperature changes.

The Muffler Clamp EGT probe is designed for EGT applications that require mounting without a weld bung and compression fitting. The Muffler Clamp EGT probe is 0.187 diameter (4.75 mm) and includes an adjustable metal clamp strap with a maximum opening of 2.4 inches (61 mm). The EGT probe cable lead length is 6 feet (2 meters). The probe has a 90-degree bend to accommodate tight mounting locations.

Drill hole in header. Insert the EGT probe through the drilled hole and tighten the Muffler Clamp. The EGT probe can be inserted to the required depth and secured by locking the supplied compression fitting.

The probe cable is over-braided in stainless steel for heavy-duty abrasion resistance. The signal wires are Teflon insulated. Designed to deliver high performance, high temperature measurements, reliably and consistently.
