LVC 2500 24 VDC LVDT Signal Conditioner

The Macro Sensors LVC-2500 Signal Conditioner is a single channel LVDT signal conditioner that operates on 12 or 24 Volts DC power to support any standard LVDT, RVDTs, and VRT half-bridges. Designed expressly for use with 24VDC systems with PLCs and mini-PLCs or on 12VDC for use in mobile and vehicular testing systems, it offers the user a choice of three analog outputs: 0 to ±10 V DC, 0 to 10 V DC, or 4 to 20 mA (sourcing) in a 3- or 4-wire current loop configuration. Unlike other DC Volt operation LVDT signal conditioners, an LVC-2500's 12 or 24 Volt DC input power is fully isolated from its analog outputs. This allows it to be connected in either a 4-wire isolated I/O configuration, or in a 3-wire common ground system in which the power ground is connected to the output signal's ground. To provide maximum output flexibility, the 4-20 mA current loop output does not track the voltage output. The LVC2500 is fully compatible with Macro Sensors LVDTs and with most standard industrial LVDTs from any manufacturer. [read more]
